BetterLAN 1.3.1 Mod – Download and install BetterLAN Mod for the latest version of Minecraft 1.3.1. Hi guys! Have you ever wanted to use Bukkit plugins on SSP? If so then BetterLAN 1.3.1 Mod is the solution! Since Minecraft 1.3 uses a server internally, ajwgeek (the creator of this mod) thought it would be a great idea to make it compatible with Bukkit plugins. It is also compatible with most servers that work with 1.3.1!
With BetterLAN 1.3.1 Mod you can even play the servers without mods, just open up ‘Multiplayer’ on any vanilla minecraft client and you can see modded servers on your network! BetterLAN 1.3.1 Mod Features

BetterLan 1.3.1 Mod Installation for Minecraft 1.3.1
Windows :
- Download BetterLAN 1.3.1 Mod
- Unzip the class files
- Press Windows + R and type %appdata%
- Navigate to .minecraft. This folder is found inside of Roaming.
- Open minecraft.jar with 7z or WinRar
- Delete META-INF and drag in the BetterLAN class files.
- Navigate to your Users folder. On Windows Vista and above, this is C://Users/ and on XP and Lower, this is C://Documents and Settings/
- Navigate to your account folder. Create a folder called BetterLAN.
- Download the latest build of Bukkit from here
- Rename the jar to craftbukkit.jar and drag it into the BetterLAN folder.
- Start Minecraft and login. Options -> LAN Options -> Enable Bukkit
- Load a world, while Bukkit is enabled, and exit Minecraft.
- Drag any plugins you want into the plugins folder. This is inside of the BetterLAN folder.
- Start Minecraft, make sure Bukkit is still enabled. Load a world.
- Done and have Fun!
MAC :
- Download BetterLAN 1.3.1 Mod
- Unzip the class files
- Press Shift + CMD + G and type ~/Library/Application\ Support/minecraft/bin
- Right click minecraft.jar -> Get Info -> Rename minecraft.jar to minecraft.zip. Unzip the jar.
- Enter the folder created. Delete META-INF and drag the class files in.
- Press Shift + CMD + G and type ~
- Create a folder called BetterLAN
- Download the latest build of Bukkit from here.
- Rename the jar to craftbukkit.jar and drag it into the BetterLAN folder.
- Start Minecraft and login. Options -> LAN Options -> Enable Bukkit
- Load a world, while Bukkit is enabled, and exit Minecraft.

- Start Minecraft, make sure Bukkit is still enabled. Load a world.
