AudioMod is an upgrade of sorts, and a modder’s utility. Included in this mod is CodecIBXM, created by Paul, who is the creator of the sound system used in Minecraft. It allows Minecraft to play (in addition to ogg, wav, and mus files), xm, s3m, and mod files. The only readily available feature of AudioMod 1.3.2 is the ability to add new music, however, it adds support for modders to add new records and sound effects. There is a slight increase in load time when using AudioMod 1.3.2 for Minecraft 1.3.2.

- Download and Install ModLoader
- Download The AudioMod 1.3.2
- Type %appdata% into the start menu
- Open .minecraft and the bin folder
- Open Minecraft.jar
- Delete the meta inf folder
- Drag in the files of the mod that you want to install
- Drag in the AudioMod files
- Open Minecraft and test the new custom sounds!
